Kid Cudi – Man On The Moon The End Of Day (album)

First up Sorry Duff and Sonja for missing ya farewell/ graduation party first of all we had no baby sitter, so headed to Welly to see family for a day then plans got changed and by then as some of you may have seen, Cia and I got to spend last weekend in Petone (Sadie had a sleep over with Nanna and Grumps who decided to babysit after all) was a really good night Travis is off to like India? wicked to catch up with Benny, Caroline, Momo fresh from Auckland, Meet Jason and Gaye? and everyone else.

Thanks Rob for walking my drunk arse to Mc Donalds and sorry I ate the last third of your Angus Mc Uber burger… when im drunk, im hungry…

Ive been reading “Every Bastard Says NO!” The 42 Below story, as told by the wife of the man behind our country’s favourite home grown Vodka, quite an interesting read, to Sum it up – White farm kid goes to Papakura high school, falls in love with girl, works for Saatchi & Saatchi, makes famous lotto ad’s living in Wellington, hates being told NO, sets out to proove people wrong, makes high quality vodka, takes piss out of competition, sells Vodka company to Barcardi, kicks feet up in Northland.

I’ve also been (interesting I have time to…) getting back into art, mainly tattoo designs/ full page sketches, but some acrylic/ mixed media painting also, you can see that here

Not much else to say, watching the Rugby in Levin at parents tonight (go the All Blacks) hanging out with Sadie and my lovely Cia.

Peace

A GaZillion Apologies

Are we living? Or merely Killing time.

I’ve been really really slack… But your used to that, or not reading this anymore…
Anyways update’s, Sarah and Sadie are up North for a freakin month! and I’m starting to suffer separation anxiety only matched by post natal woman, I’m getting over this by calling them every day, and enjoying the lack of toys to trip over in the house ruthless demands when I get home from work and general single male life… it almost makes me pin for the stoner student days of yore.
Seriously though it’s been sucky without my girls… again.

I took the parents to AC/DC in Wellington last Saturday, automatically cemented itself as one of the best gigs I’ve managed to catch, was nice to randomly run into sister Amy and an old old old mate (like Waiopehu, girls have cooties, Halo is the newest videogame ever oldschool) Barney.

I went and impulse buyed Ra’s old Uke, and have been self teaching myself Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here on it slowly but surely.
Then Cheese won tickets to the 7’s this Saturday just been so we partied it up like a pair of crazy mofo’s, Rob and Sarah I apologiz for the mess.
Had a wicked catch up with the White Knight and ended up back home for a day of sleeping on Sunday.

Work wise I’ve just found out im on my last week of provisioning so hopefully the next 3 to 6 months will be a bit more physical labour orientated…

because im fatter than ever, and cant war my favourite bikini to the beach!

Will endeavour to be less slack with blog updates.

Deep Dish ft. Stevie Nicks – Dreams 3:47

Wow so many great things to update about, lets begin with Steve Joyce, Here’s a man who has nearly converted me to the dark side of supporting the national party.
In his short time in office he’s managed to do what local government should have done in the 50’s, he’s come in swinging his gigantic nut sack and given Transmission Gully the go ahead, its quit funny that the wench who throws rate payers money around down there has jumped on the bandwagon, now that her rate payers dont have to pay towards it, but i’ll take a $5 shot in the mouth for some fucking progress around here, so a toast to Mr Joyce for seeing some sense, its about time!

Christmas, Jesus is not the bloody reason for the season.
Pagans were celebrating this time of year with light festivals, tree’s etc when Jesus and God where idea’s in some sick schizophrenics head, maybe that’s a little harsh – far be it from me to judge people on there belief’s, seriously though I listen to a fair bit of Newstalk ZB these days and the religious idiocy over this bloody Joseph and Mary in bed billboard has had me in stitches, These people are happy to judge everyone unchristian, and as soon as an arch decon throws up a questionable billboard in the name of making good conversation – may I add getting more people interested in a religion so out of touch with people its not funny – they get violent, start preaching hate and inevitably sin by defacing it and then stealing it, shame on you 90% of ZB’s fanbase (read; the elderly) and a toast to the arch decon, I hope the billboard finds its way back up soon.

Oh and by the way, the reason for the season is family and friends you self serving small minded bible bashers.
We had our’s early so it’s outta the way.

Mike D moving back to Levin – How awesome is that, we can frolic through the long grass once again, plat each others silky hair and have pillow fights!
Seriously though great new’s Levin is great and all but I miss most of my old flatmate’s/ friends, and I could use the cat eyed ones help on the car when I get to my next point.

We’ve found a home to buy, in our price range, with a huge sub dividable back lawn, we’ve done the math and can afford it all, so pending on the bank giving us the go ahead there could be a very excited update in the near future, I’m extra excited because “She Who Must Be Obeyed” has agreed to let me build a decent sized shed for the golf, one step closer to a track toy!

Family – For those not in the know, Riki is back from Australia, its great having him around again, Sadie nearly loves him as much as her Grandad.
Oh and Sadie is standing on her own, dancing and drumming on thing’s, every day I come home from work and she manages to cheer me up, finally someone who loves music as much as me, She and Cia are heading up to the in-laws for Christmas, I’m working through (hence the aforementioned “early Christmas”) So I may pop down to Welly in the evening…

Anyways happy pagan light festival everyone
And a merry Christmas too.

The Romantics – Talking in your sleep 3:56

Bingle finally made contact! Was good to catch up with him on Friday night, after a fairly dumb day at work – I only say that because I learnt nothing pulling jumpers all day since nobody wanted an apprentice in their van and eventually just worked on my course work – unit standards to pass the day away.

Saturday came around and Ray Chan and Cameron popped around to visit for a few hour’s after going to Sean’s funeral, was good to see those cats and hear how they were going, quite buzzy to see how guys you knew at 13 years old have changed over the year’s/ after reaching goals or deciding that goals they had in there youth weren’t so worthwhile.

Today (Sunday) I’m taking Sarah to Otaki to visit some bra factory shop, then we are possibly taking Sadie to Welly for a visit around some of the old crew.
My actual plan’s for today are as follows

  • do nothing
  • do nothing
  • eat
  • do nothing
  • do nothing
  • eat
  • read a book/magazine/watch tv
  • sleep
  • We will see how well I get to stick to my projected plan’s, but I’m not liking my chances so far.

    The Lonely Island – I’m On A Boat (ft. T-Pain) 3:08

First point of business, thank-you Aunty Anne for the lovely gifts, they arrived in the mail today,
I’ll be sure to throw up a photo of Sadie in her very pink new outfits as soon as the little grub wears them.

Sadies doing really good, her feeding has become less frequent and her and her Mum have started to get into a bit of a routine, Shes still managed to gain weight and is currently 9 pounds 5 oz.
I’ve still been finding it a little tough though.
Between all the crying, lack of sleep, need of money and trying to help Sarah out as much as I can with booh-bah, I’ve found myself dozing off at work, not the best state to be in when your on a temporary contract and trying to learn how to do all manner of things, I’ve also been loosing it a-little at home, needing to take off before I have some kind of break-down ie; the hopeless feeling you get because your partners got the blue’s and the baby wont stop crying out in hunger – selfish I know.

All this of course could have been avoided earlier if I just went to my parents (as I finally did yesterday evening) and asked for some help, Mum came round and helped out with some housework, cooked us dinner and Dad (Pop) took Sadie off Sarah’s hands for a few hours, giving her time to nap, this meant I was able to get somewhere closer to a reasonable amount of sleep last night and even more so was full of bean’s at work today.

Anyway’s next big thing is Steve-o’s wedding this Sat, will hopefully see plenty of the old crew there, good chance to catch up.

    John Mayer – Clarity 4:15

You know its been a good week of work when you just want the weekend to hurry the f*ck up.
Spent most of yesterday afternoon learning how veiwcCAD works, so I should now be able to find cable faults on my lonesome…

I’m a bit on edge this morning, I had a truly fucked dream last night, apparently (in my dream) I had gone tramping at some point, I was looking through photo’s of my trip and a tall pale figure was behind me in the bulk of them, in the last 2 or 3 images the figure had a face, clear as day.

Its not anyone I know, but that face is etched in my memory still, he wasn’t a scary looking bloke, seemed approachable, still what the hell was he doing standing around or behind me, who is he? what does this dream mean?

I’m betting on Baby dropping this coming Thursday, Sarah’s getting really close (and really stroppy) The midwive has told us (hopefully) any time in the next 4 weeks, as baby is engaging – so we’ve been going through the birth plan, packing the hospital bag and preparing to welcome our little one to the world, still no idea what the sex is, I’m glad we didn’t find out now, its making it that much more exciting.
